This year, anti-lock brake system became standard for the Lumina Euro and Z34 and optional for the base model. A 3.4 liter engine was made available to the Euro and Z34. A standard 5-speed manual transmission is available and the 4-speed automatic is an optional feature. With this combination the Lumina breaks out with optimum performance and leaves competitors gaping at its unexpected boost in performance.

 

The Lumina is surprisingly competent as it hugs closely on curbs, tire traction is firm and shock absorption is excellent. Noise reduction is also one outstanding feature of the Lumina as it diminishes the squeaks and squeals while controlling the shakes and rattles that is to be expected from everyday travel.
