1991 Chevy Lumina
The 1991 Chevy Lumina revved into showrooms fitted with a bigger, better engine
for its Z34 trim. Powered by a new twin-cam 3.4-liter engine, the Z34 was the
only Chevrolet model to get that forceful V6. The Z34 also carried a sport suspension,
high-performance tires on alloy wheels, analog gauges, and sport-bucket seats.
Special styling touches were also drafted into the Z34 which included a louvered
hood, ground-effects body add-ons, and a rear lip spoiler.
All these revolutionary enhancements contribute to delivering improved performance
from the 1991 Chevy Lumina. Here we see the arrival of a sportier and faster Lumina,
but still possessing the same characteristics people loved from the older Luminas.
Reliability, functionality, quality performance and responsible handling is still
what the Lumina is all about despite major changes.
